Peel the tangerines and keep the peels. Put the peels into a pot, pour them with 300-400 ml of water and add a teaspoon of salt. Cook the peels in this mixture, until it boils. When it boils, throw away the water and keep the peels. This process will remove the bitterness of the peels.
Slice the cooked peels into tiny strips. Mix 350 g of sugar and 350 ml of water in another pot and let the mixture boil, and let the sugar melt. Add the prepared peels and cook everything on light fire for about 30 minutes or until the peels becomes slightly transparent, and the syrup becomes very thick.
Transfer the peels carefully on a colander so it gets drains and dries, and then roll them into sugar and spread them on some paper so it dries completely. Store them into a jar, and consume them with cookies, beverages or nibble whenever you want.
