Ross proved that it is possible to lose 10 pounds in a period of 24 hours, of course, experimenting on himself. He says that the self-confidence shouldn’t be threatened after looking the scale.
“I hope that my experiment will create healthier connection between people and scales. The variation of weight depends of many factors, not only of fat deposits”- wrote Ross on his blog.
During these crucial 24 hours, Edgley hasn’t intake carbohydrates in a period of 24 hours, any salt, or liquid, trained whole day in a sweating suit, went to sauna and took bath in hot salt baths that are used for drawing liquids out of the body.
Also, he intake diuretics, vitamin C, dandelion root and caffeine. On the experimental day, Ross drank only 100 ml of water and went to bathroom 20 times.
Ross has clear explanation of what happened in the mentioned 24 hours.
“50% of our bodies consists of water. So, 105 of mine 210 pounds are water. However, the water is necessary for functioning of the vital organs, so this experiment is potentially deadly”- warns Ross and adds that people shouldn’t use his method, especially without consulting a doctor.
The thing that will disappoint you, is that he got back his weight in only 2 hours.
