Interesting: Cooked carrots are better than fresh!

It’s known that while cooked, the vegetables are losing part of their precious ingredients. The only exception is carrot.

The nutritionists have found that in the cooked carrots, the amount of beta-carotene and folic acid is increased for one-third. These compounds, otherwise, are protecting the human health from the free radicals that destroy the immune system of the body and weaken it, and could prompt appearance of carcinoma.

Cooking or steaming enriches the carrot with antioxidants and carotene, which is way better for consumption and our health. Therefore, if you have a carrot in your daily nutrition, try to cook it.
